On Wednesday, August 13th there was tragic fire that burned the O'neill Properties, Milleniumn Apartments. Partners for Families contacted the American Red Cross to see how we could be of assistance. The ARC stated that at this point, four sections of the apartment complex was burned. The residents of sections 1 & 4 will eventually be able to move back inside while sections 2 & 3 will be demolished. Most of the residents were young professionals. O'neill Property Management provided hotel arrangements for all the displaced residents. This took much of the burden off the Red Cross. In the meantime, for those of you looking for ways to help the fire victim, the best way to help according to the Red Cross is through bank "Gift-Cards".
